Here for His Family

Though he doesn’t remember it, Noel Kato died six times in one day. It began when he suffered a crippling heart attack and was rushed to the emergency room at Pali Momi Medical Center. On the way he died twice in the ambulance. Upon arrival at Pali Momi, his prognosis was grim. Dr. Dinora Gil in the Emergency Room called upon Dr. John Kao, Pali Momi’s Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services to intervene.
Mr. Kato died four more times as Dr. Kao and his team worked on him in the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab, but he was able to overcome the odds thanks to the caring staff at Pali Momi and their tenacity in saving his life.
After seven days in the Intensive Care Unit, Noel awoke to find his wife and daughter waiting to welcome him home.
